Specifications

  • Voltage: 600 Volts
  • Temperature: 90 ° C
  • Conductor: Class B stranded, tinned copper per ASTM B-3 and B-8
  • Insulation: Ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), per ICEA S-68-516 (NEMA WC8). Meets requirements for Type XHHW-2.
  • Standards: Tested per UL requirements for Yype TC cables having XHHW-2 conductors. Cables are listed for direct burial and meet the IEEE 383, UL 1277 and ICEA 210,000 BTU/hr flame tests. Individual conductors meet VW-1 flame test.
  • Ampacity: Based on not more than three conductors in raceway or cable or earth per NEC 310-16 with an ambient temperature of 30°C and conductor temperature of 90°C.

Applications

Designed for power & control, telemetering, relay control, traffic control, switching, lighting and signal transmission. May be used in Class 1, Div, 2 Hazardous Locations per NEC Art. 501. These cables also conform to Art. 318 “Cable Trays” and Art 340 “Power and Control Tray Cable.”

  • Standards: Tested per UL requirements for Type TC cables having XHHW-2 conductors. Cables are listed for direct burial and meet the IEEE 1202, UL 1277 and ICEA 210,000 BTU flame tests.
  • Ampacity: Based on not more than three conductors in raceway or cable or earth with an ambient temperature of 30°C per NEC 310-16. The values have been derated per Note 8.

Applications
