Portable or fixed power cable for use in drilling rigs, diesel-electric locomotives, railroad and transit car wiring, where reliability is a prime concern. Also suitable for electrically-driven earth-moving equipment, water-heater leads, power and control jumpers, case wiring and motor leads.

  • Conductor: Extra flexible, tinned, annealed, stranded copper. Suitable separator may be used between conductor and insulation.
  • Insulation: Ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) meeting requirements of ICEA S-68-516 (NEMA WC8)

Applications

For use as flexible power leads for temporary connections, or by-passing energized power lines at voltaes up to 15kV. Suitable for use at 5kV for connections to transformers and motors where non-shielded cable is required.
